Welcome to We're open Monday-Friday from 9am to 4pm & most Saturdays from 9:30am to 1pm. We offer session music classes for children from birth to 6 years and session art classes for 3- to 5-year-olds, as well as drop in Messy Art classes and special events. We're also a retail destination for wooden toys, family music CDs, musical instruments, children's books, and art supplies. Join Rhythm Child’s Norm Jones at Play for another exciting World Music Drum Series. This 3-date, interactive series explores world rhythms, incorporating music from the Putumayo Kids collections. (Ticket sales are limited to guarantee an intimate event.)

We've expanded our retail store, and we have many favorites from Plan Toys--like their stackers & pull toys, Musical Band, Wooden Trike, Shopping Cart, Airport, and much more.  As always, we also have great wooden toys from Melissa & Doug, like their newly designed Parking Garage, Fold-n-Go Barn, the Learn-to-Play Piano, the Medieval Castle, the Mini-Castle, and a huge selection of wooden puzzles. We also carry M&D's Deluxe Standing Easel (a great, adjustable easel that we use in Messy Art), the Furnished Doll House, the Deluxe Kitchen, and the wildly popular Chomp and Clack Alligator Push Toy

In music... Big on our play list lately are Ziggy Marley's new compilation, Family Time;Loquat Rooftop from Play-friend Randy Kaplan; the all-Español Dan Zanes, Nueva York; and It's A Bam Bam Diddly! from Father Goose (of Dan Zanes and Friends fame). We've also got great titles from Putumayo, including Sesame Street Playground, African Dreamland, Brazilian Playground, and Animal Playground, and lots of other all-ages music and kids instruments by REMO, First Note, Hohner, and Woodstock.
