Music Together® is an internationally recognized early childhood music program for infants, toddlers, preschoolers, kindergarteners and their parents and caregivers. First offered to the public in 1987, it pioneered the concept of a research-based, developmentally appropriate early childhood music curriculum that strongly emphasizes and facilitates adult involvement. |
| Music
Together classes are based on the recognition that all children are
musical. All children can learn to sing in tune, keep a beat, and
participate with confidence in music, provided that their early
environment supports such learning. The age range of Music Together classes is from birth to 5 years. Our program tends to have children from 6 months to 3 years old, and most classes are mixed-age. We also have a 3/4's class for the older children, although 3/4's are also welcome in the mixed age classes. Music Together sessions consist of 10 weekly, 45-minute classes, featuring a new song collection each session. Class size is 6-10 kids and their parents/caregivers. Also included in tuition are two copies of a professionally recorded CD and an illustrated songbook with all the music from the session. |
